This privacy policy describes how QUARKS AS collects and uses personal data.

This statement contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website (Personal Data Act § 19) and general information about how we process personal data (Personal Data Act § 18 subsection 1).

 

 

Purpose of collection and processing of personal data
Personal data we collect and process will be used in the connections where we have a legitimate interest (which is pursued in accordance with GDPR, art. 6 (1), letter f.) and a need to process the information in this way, on the basis of what we do in our daily operations, and where we have your consent to process the data.

Generally
For customers, suppliers and partners, personal data and other relevant information will be collected and processed on the basis of a desire to develop business relationships, enter into agreements, ongoing contact, business relationships and contractual obligations. We consider it necessary to collect, process and store such information in order to carry out our daily work; before entering into agreements and contracts, for the execution of agreements and contracts that have been entered into, and for follow-up work after completed assignments (where information is required to be retained, updated and maintained). Details and information will be used to maintain business relationships, for sending invitations to relevant events and courses, and other activities which in certain cases will involve the distribution of marketing activities (newsletters and invitations). Such processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (which are pursued in accordance with the GDPR, art. 6 (1), letter f.), and for the performance of marketing activities and the maintenance of business relationships that we see as necessary for our daily operations.

 

Data saved from our website and landing pages
The basis for collecting information from our websites and landing pages is registration for our events and registration to subscribe to newsletters, marketing and invitations to future events. It is voluntary for those who visit the websites to provide personal information, and the basis for processing is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.

When registering for our events
If you register for our events, you agree to receive correspondence and relevant follow-up and follow-up as a result of the activity in question. We will also register your activity regarding participation/non-participation in the given events, as we consider this relevant for follow-up work and our legitimate interest in follow-up and background of what we do in our daily operations. You also agree that we can store your personal data and update your history with current data.

We collect information in connection with registering for events via our websites.

 

By registering for an event, you also agree to receive invitations to future events. If you no longer wish to receive such invitations, you can manage the settings for email communication yourself. Read more about settings for email communication further down.

 

When signing up to subscribe to email communications

If you register your information to receive newsletters and invitations to future events, you agree to receive mailings from us and that we can store your personal information and update your history with current data. The information you fill in is registered and you give your consent when you press "Submit" on one of our registration forms for mailings.

What kind of information do we store?
We collect personal data from individual employees of our customers and other companies as well as networks, which we wish to have and with which we already have an existing business relationship; suppliers, collaboration partners, event participants and job seekers, which is necessary for our legitimate interests (pursued in accordance with GDPR, art. 6 (1), letter f.). Data that is collected and stored will vary according to the type of relationship and relationship and may include information such as name, job title, company, telephone number, e-mail address, type of relationship, registration for a seminar and other information that is provided or viewed as necessary for contractual obligations (invoice addresses, delivery details etc.), and which are necessary for us to carry out our daily operations.

 

HubSpot is our data processor for personal data and operates our CRM database, as well as tools for electronic mailings (newsletters and invitations to events), landing pages and tracking of activity on these. Our CRM database includes personal data belonging to individuals at our customers, suppliers, business partners and people in other companies with whom we already have business relations or wish to develop a relationship with. The personal information used for these purposes contains relevant business information such as contact data, generally available information, information regarding sales activities (emails, meetings) and other business information based on your interaction with us.

 

We will never share personal data externally and information will not be shared with a third party other than our data processors.

Settings for email communication

The communication settings for electronic mailings are managed through HubSpot. The settings apply to every single contact in our database. If you no longer wish to receive a type of communication, or wish to make other changes, you can manage your settings for communication from QUARKS yourself. This is done by pressing "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of a mailing from us.

Statistics and cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you load a website. If you accept the use of cookies on QUARKS's website, these will be used to collect information about how you use our website. If you choose not to accept the use of cookies, a cookie will be stored in your browser to remember this choice.

The information from cookies is used to analyze the use of our websites and landing pages. Examples of the type of statistics that are collected are: how many people visit various pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from, which browsers are used and registration for newsletters and event invitations.

Personal information is not stored on our website, beyond what has already been described under the section "Purpose of collecting and processing personal information".

 

Job seekers
All job applications and processing of applications are recorded in our data processing system Teamtailor. By applying and registering through Teamtailor, you agree the terms of the privacy policy in the service and your personal information will be collected and processed by QUARKS.

Storage of data
Customers, suppliers, partners and others
For customers, suppliers, partners and other contacts, the information will be stored and data retained as long as necessary to comply with our contractual obligations and as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, based on our legitimate interest (GDPR, art. 6 (1 ), letter f.).

Rights and deletion of data
You have the right to request access to, rectification or deletion of your own personal data, as well as to inquire about how we use your personal data (Section 18, subsection 1 of the Personal Data Act). You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to limit the processing of your personal data. You have the right to receive your personal information in a structured and machine-readable format.

 

If the processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us.
